The name Two Rivers speaks to our roots — the Victoria Nile and the Kagera River, the twin waterways that define the landscapes of Uganda and East Africa. Our founders grew up in the shadow of these rivers, guiding their first guests through Bwindi's mist-covered forests and across the Serengeti's golden plains more than two decades ago.
What began as a small Kampala-based guiding operation has grown into a full-service safari company covering Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. But our philosophy has never changed: every journey should feel personal, unhurried, and deeply connected to the land and its people.

Marilyn founded Two Rivers and Safaris with a vision to share the extraordinary wildlife and landscapes of East Africa with the world. Born and raised in Kasese District in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains, her deep connection to Uganda's western wilderness shapes every safari the company designs.
Head of Operations
Grace manages every detail of your safari from first enquiry to final farewell. With a background in hospitality and a deep network across East African lodges, she ensures nothing is left to chance.
Senior Wildlife Guide
James is a Kenya Wildlife Service-certified naturalist with 15 years in the Maasai Mara and Amboseli. His ability to read animal behaviour and find the unexpected makes every game drive extraordinary.
Rwanda & Conservation Lead
Accurate leads our Rwanda operations and conservation partnerships, specialising in gorilla and chimpanzee trekking across Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi. Her deep commitment to community-based conservation ensures every trek directly benefits the wildlife and people of the region.
